Ollie Piepereit

Ollie Piepereit is a master craftsman specialising in furniture finishing and restoration. With expertise in French polishing and contemporary refinishing, he focuses on reviving and enhancing wooden surfaces using both traditional techniques and modern approaches.
Originally trained as an architectural interior designer, Ollie stepped away from the fast-paced corporate world to pursue a more hands-on and fulfilling craft. Since founding OP Woodcraft in 2014, he has dedicated himself to preserving heritage finishing methods while adapting them for contemporary use.
A strong advocate for the connection between craftsmanship and wellbeing, Ollie believes in the restorative power of working with wood. His teaching philosophy encourages creativity, mindfulness and skill development.
At the Festival of Upholstery, Ollie will lead hands-on masterclasses in wood finishing, offering participants the chance to learn these techniques in a welcoming classroom environment.
